About us

Lindale Pre-School Nursery is a small friendly nursery.  We are registered to take 12 children per day; we have two members of staff: Claire Dawson as Nursery Leader and Debbie Sayle as Nursery Assistant. 

At Lindale Pre-School Nursery we learn through play which helps young children to learn and develop through doing and talking, which research has shown to be the means by which young children learn to think.  We plan and provide a range of activities which help children to progress in each of the areas of learning and development.  In some of these activites children decide how they will use the activity and in others an adult takes the lead helping the children take part in the activity.

Mrs Claire Dawson

Claire has worked in Lindale Pre-School Nursery since September 2001, taking over as Leader in April 2005; she has a CACHE Diploma in Pre-School Practice Level 3 and is the named First Aider, Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and Designated Safeguarding Children Officer also Claire works as a Teaching Assistant in Lindale Early Years Unit two afternoons a week.  In her spare time Claire runs a Church Youth Group and is on the Management Committee for Lindale Legends.

Mrs Debbie Sayle

Debbie has worked in Lindale Pre-School Nursery as Assistant Leader since April 2005; she has a NVQ2 in Early Years Child Care and Education and is a First Aider.  In her spare time Debbie helps run Brownies.
